Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set forth the terms and conditions for the use of all services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Altonotes Inc. (the “Company“) in Wordnotes application to users of the services (the “User“ or “Users“).

Agreement to these Terms of Use

  • By downloading the Application to your device and using the Services, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Use.
  • The User shall use the application in accordance with the provisions of these Terms of Use.

Modification to these Terms of Use

  • The Company reserve the right to change these Terms of Use at any time without the consent of the User. In the event that these Terms of Use are changed, the User shall comply with the changed Terms of Use in using the application.
  • In the event of a change as described in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall notify the User of the content of the revised Terms of Use in this application. However, if the Company determines that the change is minor and will not be particularly detrimental to the User, no notice shall be given.

The Company's limitation of liability

  • The Company reserve the right to change the content of the Services and the user interface without notice to the user.
  • While the Company strive to maintain the quality of the App and the Services, the Company do not guarantee that it will be free from defects.
  • The Company does not guarantee the following items with respect to the application
    • Work properly with all devices
    • Work properly when the OS version is upgraded
    • Work properly in the event of changes to the terms, specifications, etc. of the platform, including app stores, etc.
  • The Services are dependent on an external system (Amazon Web Services), and if the system becomes unavailable, the Services may also become unavailable.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any damage caused thereby.

Suspension of Service

  • The Company reserve the right to suspend all or part of the Services without prior notice to Users if we determine that any of the following reasons exist.
    • When the Services cannot be provided due to force majeure such as an accident (fire, power outage, etc.), act of God, war, riot;
    • In any other cases where the Company deems it difficult to provide the Service.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage incurred by the User as a result of the suspension of the provision of the Services.

The Company's limitation of compensation for damages

The Company shall compensate for any damage caused by the use of the application in accordance with the following conditions.
  • Limited to direct and ordinary damages actually incurred (not including damages resulting from special circumstances)
  • Only users who have paid for the application
  • Up to one month's monthly fee for the application
